Based on the characterization of various characters according to ethnic and territorial contexts, we created the ICLA pedagogical tools (ICLA stands for Information, Counseling, and Legal Assistance) to provide information and legal guidance to leaders, authorities, and the general population belonging to Afro-Colombian, indigenous, and peasant communities in emergencies regarding access to assistance, care, and comprehensive reparation measures, as well as to strengthen the response capacity of local entities.

The tools’ visual and functional design results from research and usability testing to ensure efficiency in the environmental and cultural context.
